One of the crucial qualifications that differentiates us from other agencies is that all CNP partners are Certified Brand Strategists™ (CBS). In fact, CNP is one of only two agencies in Florida to have earned the certification after undergoing graduate-level coursework offered by the Brand Establishment in Chicago. The Brand Establishment is an organization that specializes in delivering in-depth brand development training for small to midsize agencies – the fruits of which are then enjoyed by their clients.

Clark/Nikdel, Inc. is incorporated with Chris Nikdel and Jeff Clark as agency owners. Bok Tower Gardens and many other companies from Chris’ and Jeff’s freelance businesses form the first client base.
Cathy Howard joins the agency. Jeff Clark leaves Clark/Nikdel, Inc. to work at Bartow Memorial Hospital. Cypress Gardens becomes client for the next 12 years.
Anne Powell joins Clark/Nikdel, Inc. bringing MIDFLORIDA Credit Union and several other long-term clients, most we still have today.
Clark/Nikdel, Inc. takes Best of Show in Polk Addy Awards. Chris Nikdel is named Ad Woman of the Year by the Polk Advertising Federation.
Melea Gernert joins the agency. Clark/Nikdel, Inc. is awarded the Advertising and Marketing contract for Polk County Tourism & Sports Marketing and the Central Florida Development Council. An account still retained today.
Chris Nikdel wins Imperial Polk Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal Award for 1999. Melea Gernert wins the Doris Fleischman Award by the Florida Public Relations Association. Our historic 1911 building is purchased and we move to our present location at 62 4th Street NW in Winter Haven.
Anne Powell becomes partner; name of the agency is changed to Clark/Nikdel/Powell. Jeff Clark rejoins Clark/Nikdel/Powell for 2 years, leaving in 2002 to become Executive Director of the Bartow Chamber of Commerce.
The CFDC website, designed by Clark/Nikdel/Powell, wins Best Website by a Large-market Economic Development Agency in Florida from the Florida Economic Development Council. The agency also designs early sites for VCB and Cypress Gardens.
Clark/Nikdel/Powell wins American Association of Botanical Gardens & Arboreta Association’s Dorothy E. Hansell Publications National Award for Bok Tower Gardens.
Clark/Nikdel/Powell brings full-time web design, development and programming staff in-house, bridging the gap between online and offline marketing and to becoming a fully integrated agency.
Fran Rowe joins the agency. Clark/Nikdel/Powell wins Imperial Polk Advertising Federation Best of Show Addy Award for Imperial Symphony Orchestra’s website, 4 best-of-category Benny Awards and continues to win Benny, Gold and Silver Awards every year since.
Chris Nikdel is named one of the Ledger’s 21 Women for the 21st Century. Clark/Nikdel/Powell wins 6 best-of-category Benny awards from Imperial Polk Advertising Federation. The agency is given the Public Service Award from the Dick Pope/Polk County Chapter of the Florida Public Relations Association. Clark/Nikdel/Powell is awarded the Advertising and Marketing contract for the Highlands County Visitor & Convention Bureau.
Clark/Nikdel/Powell wins 2 best-of-category Bennys, 7 Gold and 20 Silver Addy Awards from Imperial Polk Advertising Federation. Anne Powell is Imperial Polk Advertising Federation’s Silver Medal Award winner for 2007. Clark/Nikdel/Powell spins off web development department: cnp_studio. Clark/Nikdel/Powell launches Sony PlayStation Blog and other national websites.
Chris Nikdel completes three-year training, is designated a Travel Marketing Professional (TMP) by the Southeast Tourism Society. Robin Fight joins Clark/Nikdel/Powell. Chris Nikdel and Anne Powell are designated Certified Branding Strategists™, among only 30+ firms in the nation with this designation. Clark/Nikdel/Powell undergoes re-branding to officially become CNP.
Alex Nikdel joins CNP as new Web Development Director. cnp_studio team and office sold to Voce Communications. Taylor Gorman joins as Web Developer, Seth Wilson as Online Marketing Analyst, Mark Adkins as Copywriter and Content Strategist.
Lakeland Electric selects CNP to handle the new Smart Grid Communications Plan. Alex Nikdel is made a partner. Katie Worthington joins CNP as PR & Media Director.
CNP doubles the size of its office to better house the expanding Web Department. CNP wins Small Business of the Year Award from the Greater Winter Haven Chamber of Commerce. Central Florida Visitors & Convention Bureau rebranded Visit Central Florida and wins VCB of the Year Shining Example Award from Southeast Tourism Society. Chris Roche and Glenn Welser join CNP as Web Developers, Sandy Pogue as Senior Graphic Designer.
Peterson & Myers website wins WebAward for Best Legal Website from the Web Marketing Association. CNP wins first Telly Award for PlugIntoSmart television commercial. Whitney Gorman joins CNP as Account Coordinator.
